Carnaby Street is a very popular local 60's and 70's covers band based in Leighton Buzzard. The band has been around for about 8 years and has a large local following of loyal fans and supporters and never fails to please. With it's energetic mix of well loved classics from the 60's era with a bit of glam rock thrown in for good measure, Carnaby Street can be relied upon to get the party dancing and singing along. A great band for private functions, pubs, clubs , weddings and parties that want a polished band playing all the hits from an era that everyone loves. The band' playlist comprises classic covers from the 60's and early 70's including songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Searchers, The Kinks, The Shadows, Roy Orbison, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Monkeys, and a bit of Glam Rock from T. Band members are:- Steve Marriot (vocals), Karen Joplin (vocals / backing vocals), Marty Marvin (lead guitar), Brian Lennon(rhythm guitar), Nick Entwhistle (bass) and Harry Moon (drums).

The band plays at weddings, parties, private functions and clubs and pubs and is now taking bookings for 2011.
